How it works - This is the real thing!!!  -   Very simple installation -- No Programming required -- All you have to do is plug it in -- You will get everything you need to get this amazing system working straight out of the box -- Simply plug in the VCR Event Recorder, press the power "on" button, insert a standard VHS tape (a free blank VHS tape is included) , connect your existing camera outputs to the Video and Audio inputs of the VCR, then finally place the tiny wireless motion detector in the area that you wish to monitor (up to 100 feet away, even through walls). -- That is it! -- Amazingly Simple! You are now ready to record only when there is something worth recording!!!!!!

And... with a flip of the switch**... you can disable the Motion Sensing Event Recording functionality and use the VCR as a Normal VCR to watch your favorite videos in super high 4 Head Hi-Fi Stereo quality!

Although integration is great most of the time, sometimes it is valuable to have certain components separated. That is why we have provided the wireless motion sensor as a separate component. With systems that have the motion detector built into the VCR you will run into certain limitations (see below):

You can't secure the Event Recorder VCR in a drawer or cabinet because it must be in plan site of the monitored area in order for the integrated motion detector to detect motion.	By having a separate motion sensor, your VCR doesn't have to be in the same room that you are monitoring, thus you are able to secure the Event Recorder in a different room as desired.
You might often miss some of the action because of a delay between when motion is detected and when recording actually begins. This happens because with these types integrated systems the subject must trip the sensor in the area (not before they get there).	No problem with our system, you are able to set the motion detector to monitor the "entrance" or "hallway" before the subject reaches the monitored area if you like. This way you will see everything that happens and not miss precious seconds.
Not always easy to position the Event Recorder VCR with the built in motion sensor to detect motion in the desired area.	Since the motion detector is separate from the Event Recorder VCR, you can put it at any angle necessary.

• When you un-box the VCR and plug it in, just set the wireless motion detector in the area to be monitored. When someone triggers the motion detector, it sends a "RECORD" signal to the Event Recorder VCR. As long as there is motion in the field of view of the wireless motion detector, the VCR will continue to record the action. After 4-5 minutes with no motion detected, the system sends a "STOP RECORDING" signal to the VCR, and the VCR remains in standby mode until motion is detected again - and will continue this process for as long as you have tape available (free tape included) .
• The Wireless Motion Sensor can be placed anywhere, up to 100 feet, in an inconspicuous location.
• The included Emergency "Record" remote control allows you to instantly start the recording regardless if motion is detected at that time.
• As the diagrams show, this system is completely wireless and will work with almost any existing spy camera or surveillance system^*
• The only visible difference from this VCR than "normal VCR" is that it has a tiny adjustable antenna and a switch on the rear - however, since you will receive a wireless motion detector, the VCR itself can be secured and locked away in a separate room, drawer, or cabinet if desired.

Beware .... of other similar systems sold in the market that will turn "on" too late and turn "off" recording too soon, thus causing you to miss some of the action. Some systems turn "on" too late because the motion detector is integrated into the VCR, thus you will miss some of the activity because with these type integrated systems, the subject must trip the sensor in the area (not before they get there). This is the beauty of having a separate motion detector that can be set in a way that it can detect motion slightly before (in a hallway, doorway, etc) the subject reaches the monitored area. The other problem is that if the subject temporarily goes out of view of the integrated motion system or sits down and relaxes in a chair, some other systems will turn "off" too quickly (less than a minute of inactivity). With our system, you will get 5 minutes to make sure that you don't miss temporary moments of inactivity when the subject is actually still in the area.
